People in in the Kootenay Boundary will have increased access to a new MRI suite at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) in Trail.

People in Trail are benefiting from better access to care, thanks to the completion of the pharmacy and ambulatory care project at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH).

Construction has begun on the new and expanded Glenmerry Elementary, improving services for students, families and staff.

A new pharmacy at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital is now open, offering enhanced operational efficiency, improved working conditions and modern technology.

Students in the West Kootenay-Boundary and Lower Columbia region will have access to more courses now that Selkirk College has acquired the Greater Trail Community Centre as a permanent campus.

Hundreds of students and families in Trail will benefit from a new and expanded Glenmerry Elementary school by September 2024.  

Construction is underway on nine new affordable rental homes for families and seniors in Trail through a partnership between the Government of B.C., the Columbia Basin Trust and the Lower Columbia Affordable Housing Society.

Under the BC Rural Dividend Program, the Government of British Columbia is providing more than $1.1 million for nine projects in the West Kootenay region.
