Mercedes-Benz drove into British Columbia today to announce it has selected Burnaby as home for a new fuel stack production facility. Premier Christy Clark welcomed the company to the province at a news event, noting that the investment will bring jobs for British Columbia families. The announcement coincided with the arrival of the F-CELL World Drive, that traveled to Vancouver from Seattle as part of its 125 day, 30,000 kilometer circumnavigation of the world by fuel cell powered electric vehicles.
