First Nations governments financially challenged by the pandemic and natural disasters will benefit from a one-time provincial grant that makes up for the loss of shared gaming revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lions Gate Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic in both directions for three consecutive nights beginning Friday, April 29, 2022.

Experts from more than 80 countries will gather in person and virtually to exchange ideas on best practices to protect the environment while balancing the need for solid and sustainable development. 

The federal and provincial governments are extending financial relief to BC Transit and TransLink to help protect service levels while ridership recovers and to make sure B.C.’s public transit system remains safe and reliable.
