As of Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, 88% (4,079,918) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 81.1% (3,761,048) have received their second dose.

Government is updating its K-12 education health and safety guidelines to require masks for kindergarten to Grade 3 students. 

Today, on Orange Shirt Day, and the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Ministry of Health and the Office of the Provincial Health Officer are honouring residential school survivors, their families and loved ones, and the children who did not come home. As of Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, 87.9% (4,074,112) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 80.8% (3,745,457) have received their second dose.

As of Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, 87.8% (4,068,060) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 80.6% (3,736,540) have received their second dose.

As of Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, 87.7% (4,064,859) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 80.5% (3,729,606) have received their second dose.

Restaurants facing unprecedented challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to be supported through the extension of the food delivery fee cap, which limits the total fees food delivery companies can charge.
