More people will now benefit from enhancements to the Rental Assistance Program (RAP) and the Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (SAFER) program, helping low-income families and seniors afford their rent.

A new provincial committee has begun work to remove systemic barriers that make access to government programs and services challenging for racialized people in British Columbia.

New actions are being implemented to help more people find affordable homes in the communities where they live and work.

B.C.’s First Quarterly Report shows the Province supported growing communities while responding to a major wildfire season, high interest rates across the country and global economic challenges.

The Province is moving forward with new guidelines to protect students and reduce the risks and harms of toxic-drug poisonings.
