The B.C. government has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for non-profit housing societies to own and operate two social housing sites currently owned by the Province and managed by BC Housing – Ted Kuhn Towers in Surrey and Sunset Towers in Vancouver.

The Province will provide an additional 88 units of transitional housing and shelter, as well as 40 rent supplements for campers currently residing at the Victoria courthouse lawns.

The January 2016 natural gas and petroleum rights sale has resulted in over $200,000, increasing the fiscal year total to over $14 million.
