This week should be the first week of school. For students and their teachers, it's supposed to be a time of excitement and anticipation. But instead, it's a time of frustration and uncertainty.

A proposed new project office in the Vancouver school district will help speed up the delivery of school seismic projects aimed at keeping students and staff safe in the event of an earthquake.

Five more school districts and more than 2,800 support staff workers have recently ratified new agreements under the B.C. government’s 2014 Economic Stability Mandate.
