Oceans are vital to the health of the world. For British Columbia, coastal waters are also vital to our culture and our economy. On World Oceans Day, we celebrate those working to protect the waters that are so important to us all. 

For more than two decades, Roger Bean has been an active volunteer at E.C. Manning Park. He built a cabin at East Gate, spent countless hours working on backcountry ski route projects and is often immersed in park activities and wildlife research.

The Province has released its quarterly environmental enforcement summaries for the third and fourth quarters of 2018 to provide transparency on action taken against polluters in British Columbia.
