Environment Minister Mary Polak introduced amendments to the Greenhouse Gas Industrial Reporting and Control Act, giving new regulated operations flexible options for start-up, ensuring B.C.’s LNG is the cleanest in the world.

Over the past five years, BC Parks has invested approximately $60 million in park facilities.

In its final written submission to the National Energy Board (NEB) panel reviewing Kinder Morgan’s Trans Mountain Expansion project, the provincial government says it will continue to evaluate the project based on the company’s ability to meet the five requirements which B.C. has insisted must be in place for any new heavy-oil pipeline to receive provincial support.

The Province’s new Greenhouse Gas Industrial Reporting and Control Act (GGIRCA) came into force, ensuring LNG facilities in British Columbia will have an emissions cap making them the cleanest in the world.
