Students, faculty and staff at B.C.’s colleges and universities are being supported to come back together for in-person learning this fall, informed by the release of new Return-to-Campus Guidelines.

Students and staff at British Columbia’s post-secondary institutions now have access to more resources to help them prevent and respond to sexualized violence and misconduct on campuses.

Students with disabilities enrolled at public post-secondary institutions are receiving more supports to help them succeed in their studies and train for a range of in-demand careers.

Anne Kang, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Training, has released the following statement:

Faculty and staff in British Columbia’s post-secondary sector now have more tools to help them recognize and respond to students living with mental health challenges.

Students studying at private post-secondary institutions throughout B.C. will benefit from changes to the Private Training Regulation and the Fees and Student Tuition Protection Fund Regulation.

Post-secondary institutions across British Columbia are continuing to plan for a safe return to in-person learning this fall.

Mental health supports are available to B.C. post-secondary international students who are affected by the new federal flight restrictions between India, Pakistan and Canada.
