Melanie Mark, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, has issued the following statement on the launch of an information campaign to prevent sexualized violence and misconduct on and around post-secondary campuses.

The Government of British Columbia has underscored its commitment to work with Indigenous peoples in the spirit of respect and collaboration by introducing a set of draft principles designed to guide the daily work of provincial government employees. Don Wright, head of the BC Public Service shared the draft principles with all 27,000 public service employees on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Students throughout British Columbia will have more opportunities to pursue good-paying jobs in B.C.’s booming tech industry, which will ensure the province’s employers have access to more homegrown talent.

The Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 2), 2018, was introduced in the legislature today, Apr. 23, 2018, by Attorney General David Eby.
