The BC Coroners Service has postponed the inquest into the death of Craig Andrew Ford in response to the continuing provincial public health measures in place to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

As the May long weekend approaches, government reminds people to avoid all non-essential travel in the province to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and instead stay local if you do decide to enjoy the outdoors.

As B.C. moves toward its new normal, Mike Farnworth, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, is extending the provincial state of emergency to support continued co-ordination of the pandemic response.
