Mike Farnworth, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, has released the following statement regarding the filing of the fourth unexplained wealth order (UWO) application:

The Province is providing additional funding to the B.C. Indigenous Cannabis Business Fund (ICBF) to support Indigenous participation in the regulated cannabis industry.

Owners of restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries will have more time to make outdoor seating areas permanent, allowing them to serve more people without disruption during the patio season.

Feedback gathered through the Province’s public engagement about cannabis is now available online.

The Province is introducing a new cannabis retail licence that will allow eligible federally licensed cannabis producers to sell non-medical cannabis products from stores located at their cultivation site.
