Communities throughout British Columbia will share over $6.4 million in grants from the B.C. government’s Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP).

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) received $10 million from the B.C. government to implement works related to the second year of the 20-year Infrastructure Development Contribution Agreement.

The Government of British Columbia is proud to support and recognize local athletes who are competing for Team Canada at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. There are 142 athletes with a connection to the province who either live or train here, and we’re all rooting them on in Rio!

British Columbia is sending 142 athletes with a connection to B.C., making up 45% of Team Canada, to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Community, Sport and Cultural Development Minister Peter Fassbender announced that local governments throughout British Columbia are sharing almost $108 million in provincial funding to support policing and safety measures, as well as community services and projects.

 British Columbia artists and arts organizations have until Aug. 1, 2016, to apply for professional development or touring funding offered by the British Columbia Arts Council.
