Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone launched the third phase of consultation on the George Massey Tunnel Replacement Project and released design and cost details of the estimated $3.5-billion project, which will see a new 10-lane bridge built over the Fraser River at Highway 99.

The deadline for providing input into the first round of public consultation on the McKenzie Interchange project is one week away.

Near hurricane force winds, Arctic outbreaks and heavy rains are three severe weather patterns typically experienced in British Columbia in the late fall and winter. They can result in downed electrical lines and power outages, flooding, landslides and hazardous driving conditions.
