Regulations are being streamlined for large commercial vehicles travelling across the boundaries of the three westernmost provinces.

The Province is helping small, rural communities address infrastructure priorities with an investment of $17.2 million through the Towns for Tomorrow program.

A review by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure into the April 16 closure of Highway 1 at Goldstream Park has been released. The review is focused on the speed in which alternate routes were established, and on the communication to the travelling public.

The government of British Columbia has introduced legislation to support the review of the province's coastal ferry system by independent B.C. Ferry Commissioner Gord Macatee in light of public concern about rising ferry fares.
