Ukrainians arriving in B.C. with a Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET) will benefit from a more affordable process for the federally mandated medical examination.

Nearly 55,000 kids, parents and caregivers in B.C., including in rural, remote and Indigenous communities, can access family literacy programs to improve their reading skills through the annual Raise-a-Reader campaign Sept. 22-29, 2022.

People in 44 communities throughout British Columbia will have access to more local services that respond to the effects of homelessness during extreme weather.

Local authorities and First Nations are implementing their heat response plans, including opening cooling centres in communities, following heat warnings throughout British Columbia.

David Eby, Minister Responsible for Housing, has announced changes to the composition of the BC Housing Board of Commissioners.

The Province has released the findings of an external review of BC Housing’s organizational capacity and financial systems, in consideration of government’s historic $7-billion investment in affordable housing and the rapid growth of the Crown corporation.
