British Columbians will benefit from an investment in active transportation infrastructure that helps create a stronger B.C. with better connected and more liveable communities.

People in remote and rural communities are benefiting from $28 million from B.C.’s Economic Recovery Plan to upgrade side, secondary and forest service roads.

In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep B.C.’s hospitals, schools and businesses open, the provincial health officer (PHO) urges all British Columbians to press pause on non-essential travel this holiday season as everyone does their part to keep the province’s communities safe.

People throughout B.C. will continue to have access to safe, reliable and affordable public transportation as the province restarts.
