Environment Minister Mary Polak and Natural Gas Development Minister Rich Coleman have issued an environmental assessment certificate to Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. for the North Montney Mainline Pipeline project, which is a natural gas pipeline approximately 301 kilometres long in the Peace River Regional District in northeast British Columbia.

Communities throughout British Columbia will celebrate the fifth BC Family Day on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017.

The Province, in partnership with the BC Lung Association, is improving air quality throughout B.C. by providing $190,000 to 14 communities/regional districts as part of the Provincial Wood Stove Exchange Program.

The Province has acquired four additional ecologically sensitive properties throughout British Columbia, thanks to a partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
