Amendments to the Environmental Management Act (EMA), introduced will, if passed, provide the legal foundation to establish a new, world-leading spill preparedness and response regime to address environmental emergencies in B.C.

Environment Minister Mary Polak introduced amendments to the Greenhouse Gas Industrial Reporting and Control Act, giving new regulated operations flexible options for start-up, ensuring B.C.’s LNG is the cleanest in the world.
