A B.C. delegation will travel to Europe to promote the province’s expertise in technology to support investment and trade opportunities for businesses in the province, and good-paying jobs for British Columbians.

Communities throughout British Columbia will benefit from $7.5 million in grants supporting local initiatives aimed at preventing crime, advancing healing and enhancing public safety.

In partnership with the Province, the Tahltan, Taku River Tlingit, Kaska Dena, Gitanyow and Nisga’a Nations are kicking off land-use planning in the northwestern corner of B.C., engaging with industry, community and other partners to implement world-leading land-use plans that will provide greater certainty for investors, First Nations and communities alike.

The Province is commissioning an independent review of Community Living BC’s (CLBC) home-sharing program to ensure people are receiving the best and safest service possible.

The Province is launching an assessment of its primary-care system to ensure it is effectively supporting community-based solutions, including in rural areas, and providing everyone in B.C. with timely access to primary care.

The Province of British Columbia has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Government of Yukon to explore and advance the planning of a future connection between the Yukon and British Columbia electrical grids.

Non-profit and municipal housing providers can apply for more than $775 million in total funding to deliver more than 4,600 rental homes through the latest intake of the Building BC: Community Housing Fund.
