More children in B.C. will be riding with confidence as the Province helps to expand the Everyone Rides Grades 4-5 program, giving more students hands-on cycling skills while promoting road safety and active transportation.

Cyclists and walkers will enjoy more multi-use pathways, protected bike lanes, pedestrian bridges, and safety improvements as the Province helps local governments expand their active transportation infrastructure.

People who rely on transit between the Westshore and downtown can expect faster, easier travel with RapidBus infrastructure upgrades coming to Highway 1 from McKenzie Interchange through to the Six Mile area.    

Communities throughout British Columbia are invited to make active transportation an even better option for people to get around.

More people will soon be able to leave their cars behind and choose active ways to get around efficiently and affordably across communities in British Columbia.

People will be safer on B.C.’s roads with another round of support for 56 more communities that will further help prevent serious injuries and deaths.

Local governments and Modern Treaty Nations will be able to begin work on larger climate-action projects, protecting communities for the next generation of British Columbians.

Elementary school students throughout British Columbia will be safer cyclists after taking part in the fifth year of the Everyone Rides Grade 4-5 program.
