Even more B.C. parents will have access to child care as the Province marks the latest milestone in its popular Childcare BC plan with funding for more than 13,000 new spaces since July 2018.

The Province is making affordable, quality child care more accessible for families in the Capital Regional District (CRD) by investing in 462 new spaces, including seven projects with local school districts. 

More options for before- and after-school care are on the way for parents with the introduction of new legislation that will make it easier for boards of education to deliver licensed child care for students.
