Twenty high-priority B.C. communities are receiving funding from government’s new Community Overdose Crisis Innovation Fund.

People who are living in supportive housing in the Capital Regional District (CRD) will have opportunities to become healthier and learn new skills, following the purchase of Woodwyn Farms by the Province, through BC Housing, for use as a therapeutic-recovery community.

More young people and their families will have access to the mental health and addictions services and supports they need under one roof, as two new communities are added to the growing network of Foundry youth centres throughout the province.

Foundry Abbotsford has officially opened its doors, providing local youth and their families with supports for their mental-health, substance-use and overall wellness needs.

The Government of British Columbia and partners from non-profit agencies, local health authorities, First Nations governments and community organizations are joining forces to support people affected by the 2017 wildfires, to get the mental-health supports and services they need.
