Community grants for not-for-profit organizations on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast will help deliver services so people can be more active, creative and culturally connected.

People in Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast communities will benefit from upgrades to not-for-profit services and programs with additional funding from B.C.’s Community Gaming Grants program.

Families throughout the province are encouraged to recognize this year’s Family Literacy Week by reading books, playing games, attending online and outdoor events, and connecting with loved ones virtually.

British Columbians are encouraged to read their favourite book, head outside for some fresh air, play their favourite games and connect with family virtually while growing their literacy skills and celebrating Family Literacy Week 2021.

More people in need will soon benefit from meals prepared in new kitchens and expanded food distribution, as local community organizations receive funding from the Community Gaming Grants program.
