More seniors in B.C. experiencing abuse and neglect are getting access to resources and support they need from local Community Response Networks (CRN).

People in Vancouver now have access to a new MRI at St. Paul’s Hospital, thanks to a multi-year fundraising effort supported by many donors.

Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation, has issued the following statement on the release of Statistics Canada‘s Labour Force Survey for July 2021:

Three new projects, in partnership with coastal Indigenous Nations, will target marine debris along B.C.’s shoreline, including more remote areas in Haida Gwaii and the Discovery Islands.  

People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Vernon will soon have access to 52 safe and secure homes as construction begins on a new supportive housing project in the community.

British Columbians whose jobs have been affected by COVID-19, and people facing barriers to employment, can get new skills training and job opportunities through new training projects.
