The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who was found deceased in Lynn Headwaters Regional Park in North Vancouver on Feb. 17, 2015.

With Haynes Point Provincial Park now an archaeological site, the Province and Osoyoos Indian Band (OIB) have agreed that Haynes Point and Okanagan Falls provincial parks will be managed by the OIB.

The B.C. government is supporting local BC Family Day events through partnerships with three organizations: BC Recreation and Parks Association, Royal BC Museum and the Vancouver Art Gallery.

To maintain high service levels in B.C. provincial parks for an increasing number of visitors, the Province is raising camping fees as of March 15, 2015.

Parliamentary Secretary for Healthy Living, Michelle Stilwell has issued the following statement::

Twenty-eight B.C. communities have been awarded age-friendly community planning and project grants to support strategies to help seniors stay mobile, physically active, socially connected and healthy.

B.C. public-sector organizations such as school districts and health authorities now have access to an electronic tool that will streamline their carbon-neutral government reporting requirements.
