Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.’s provincial health officer, and Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, have issued the following joint statement regarding updates on the COVID-19 response in British Columbia:

All pregnant people who are age 16+ are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines as a priority population through B.C.’s Immunization Plan.

Six new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast tourism region with support from the Province.

Fourteen new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the Thompson Okanagan tourism region with support from the Province.

Eleven new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains tourism region with support from the Province.

Ten new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the Kootenay Rockies tourism region with support from the Province.

Five new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the Vancouver Island tourism region with support from the Province.

Twelve new destination and tourism infrastructure developments are underway in the northern B.C. tourism region with support from the Province.
