People at risk of homelessness are getting the housing, support and help they need at two new buildings which provide 170 supportive housing apartments and 15 Seniors Rental Housing apartments in Vancouver.

The governments of Canada and British Columbia gathered to celebrate the official opening of an 18-unit rental building, which provides housing for low-income individuals with mental health challenges in Vancouver.

A $180-million funding agreement between the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia will help create more affordable housing options for B.C. residents and continue to reduce the number of households in housing need.
