If weather permits on Sept. 29, 2016, the BC Wildfire Service will conducting an 11.7-hectatre prescribed burn four kilometres north of Nevertouch Lake, 50 kilometres east of Kelowna, B.C.

PHS Community Services Society has been selected as the non-profit housing society to operate the former Super 8 hotel, which will soon provide safe and secure housing for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Victoria.
