Local residents and visitors will have better options for biking around Vancouver Island with the rollout of nine cost-sharing cycling infrastructure projects through the BikeBC program.

Claire Trevena, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, has issued the following statement on Bike to Work and School Week:

New maintenance contracts have been awarded for service areas 10 and 16 in the southern Interior, providing improved standards and better highway conditions for British Columbians year-round.
