Nearly 336,000 parents have benefited from the free supports offered by the BC Family Maintenance Agency (BCFMA), which helps facilitate child or spousal support payments.

Indigenous Peoples will have access to better legal supports and healing opportunities with the opening of a new Indigenous Justice Centre in Chilliwack and $10 million in funding to support First Nations’ community-based justice programs.

People are encouraged to share their thoughts through an online questionnaire about how government can best address systemic racism.

Health-care workers will benefit from new protections when bringing forward concerns about serious wrongdoing as the scope of the Public Interest Disclosure Act (PIDA) expands to people working at health authorities, Providence Health, and BC Emergency Health Services as of Thursday, June 1, 2023.
