Winter in B.C. is beautiful, and more people than ever are experiencing its beauty through hiking, snowshoeing and skiing in provincial parks.

A provincial park off the shores of Vancouver Island has been renamed to provide a deeper connection to the history, land and culture of the Snuneymuxw people.

The Province is advising owners of private drinking-water wells in flooded areas in the Metro Vancouver Regional District and Fraser Valley Regional District that their wells may be at increased risk of contamination.

Communities throughout British Columbia will soon have projects underway to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, create jobs and produce compost for residents.

Lake Babine Nation and the Province have signed a collaborative agreement to advance reconciliation, social and community well-being, and regional economic growth under environmental assessment legislation.
