The Province has set new housing targets for a fourth group of municipalities, bringing thousands of new homes to communities throughout B.C.

On March 22, 2025, the people of Okanagan Falls voted in favour of incorporating as a new municipality.

People experiencing homelessness in Williams Lake have access to additional shelter spaces with the opening of Roots on First.

More support is on the way for people experiencing homelessness as the Province and the City of Powell River partner on a new temporary shelter.

Ministerial directives have been issued to the districts of Oak Bay and West Vancouver to continue helping the communities improve local processes and build more homes people need.

More Richmond residents can keep their affordable homes with support from the Province and the B.C. Rental Protection Fund.

More women and their children leaving violence now have safe, secure place to stay as 44 new shelter and transitional housing spaces have opened in Kelowna.

People living in Qualicum Beach with low to moderate incomes have access to 56 new affordable homes with the opening of the Residences at Qualicum Station.
