To support Lake Babine Nation with economic recovery from the pandemic, the Province is accelerating $22 million ahead of schedule under the 2020 Lake Babine Nation Foundation Agreement.

The Province is providing Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chiefs with $7.22 million to support work to implement Wet’suwet’en title and rights.

Ka:'yu:'k't'h'/Che:k'tles7et'h' First Nations (KCFN) joined the meeting of the Strathcona Regional District (SRD) on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, for the first time as a full member of the board, fulfilling a commitment under the Maa-nulth Treaty.
