Drivers are advised of an overnight closure on Highway 1 at Tank Hill, 14 kilometres east of Lytton, to allow for the placement of concrete on the new structure over the CPKC Railway.

Safety improvements are planned for the intersection at Highway 14 and Idlemore Road in Sooke and a public information session about the project will be held.

Drivers are advised that daytime closures of Highway 1 between Sicamous and Salmon Arm, related to construction on the R.W. Bruhn bridge and approaches project, will continue through Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

As part of the development of a long-term solution for the future of Taylor Bridge on Highway 97, the Ministry of Transportation and Transit is conducting geotechnical investigations on the north and south banks of Peace River near the bridge.

Drivers are advised to plan for heavy traffic this weekend along Highway 1 near 56th Avenue and 264th Street.
