Dr. Bonnie Henry, British Columbia’s provincial health officer (PHO), has issued the following statement:

The B.C. Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) has taken urgent action to protect the interests of tenants and landlords of approximately 350 properties in B.C. by freezing the bank accounts and suspending the licence of Vancouver-based rental property brokerage firm Rent it Furnished Realty.

Drivers are advised that Highway 17 eastbound will be closed between Tannery Road and Bridgeview Drive this weekend, July 26-29, 2024.

Travellers are reminded that Highway 17 near Keating Cross Road will be closed in both directions on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
