The Province and the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) have renewed their investment of approximately $1.4 million in the Centre for Gambling Research at UBC, signalling a dedicated effort to reduce the potential harms associated with gambling for people in British Columbia.

To support continued access to justice for people in British Columbia, the Province has appointed three new Provincial Court judges and one judicial justice.

Twelve new school additions will mean more student spaces as early as the 2024-25 school year in fast-growing communities across the province.

Three directors have been reappointed to WorkSafeBC’s governance board.

The Province is encouraging people to prepare and be vigilant as several weather warnings have been issued for a storm that will bring heavy rain, strong winds and snow to some areas. The storm will impact B.C. on Monday, Dec. 4, and should ease on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
