The Ministry of Transportation and Transit continues leading efforts to safely reopen Bamfield Main Road in co-operation with Mosaic Forest Management, following recent wildfire impacts.

The BC Coroners Service, together with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit and CN, is encouraging people in B.C. to learn more about rail safety to help save lives and prevent serious injuries during Rail Safety Week 2025.

Drivers are advised that Highway 1 at Tank Hill, 14 kilometres east of Lytton, will be closed overnight from 11 p.m., Monday, Sept. 15, until 7 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.
