Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation, has released the following statement on supports for people, B.C. businesses and communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic:

British Columbians experiencing or at-risk of homelessness will benefit from expanded services, supports, and more timely access to care, thanks to new investments in Budget 2022.

As of Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 90.7% (4,523,491) of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 86.8% (4,328,146) have received their second dose.

Camping enthusiasts can now try out the improved BC Parks reservation service before it opens for bookings on March 21.

The Province is launching an independent review and public consultation on government’s operational response to the COVID-19 pandemic to better inform preparations and responses to future emergencies and ensure British Columbians are protected.
