Effective at 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov.  23, 2021, travel restrictions will be in place on Highway 7 from Murray Street in Mission to Highway 1 in Hope.

Highway 3 has reopened for goods movement and people travelling for essential purposes only following a closure to conduct a geotechnical assessment.

Flood waters in the Abbotsford area continue to recede allowing the eastbound lanes on Highway 1 between Highway 11 east to Cole Road to be open for emergency access to agricultural operations in the area.   

Highway 1 between Boothroyd and Hope is now open, helping connect several communities to the Lower Mainland. 

Highway 1 is now open to a single lane of traffic in each direction between Hope and Highway 9 east of Chilliwack.

The Province is urging people on B.C.’s North Coast to prepare and be diligent as Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued weather alerts for heavy rain, strong winds and freezing temperatures, expected to arrive Saturday, Nov. 20 and last until Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Highway 99 is now open for people travelling for essential purposes only, connecting the Lower Mainland to Pemberton, Lillooet and the Interior.

Highway 1 at Tunnel Hill on the Malahat has reopened to two-way traffic.
