British Columbia is launching a stronger, more ambitious climate plan to deliver on its commitment to reduce climate pollution and build a cleaner, stronger economy for people throughout B.C.

The families of children and youth with physical disabilities and other complex care needs will receive more help to pay for the medical equipment they need to live at home through a $10-million funding increase to medical equipment benefits under the At Home Program.

Slope stabilization at Ten Mile Slide on Highway 99 is complete, improving the long-term safety and reliability for people travelling the highway northeast of Lillooet.

The first concrete girders that will support the bridge deck have been installed for the new Sheep Bridge on Highway 1 in the Kicking Horse Canyon as work continues on improvements to the highway east of Golden.

The Good Bridge replacement project is complete, providing people who live and work in the North Peace region with safe and reliable travel along Cecil Lake Road for years to come.
