Families, seniors, and people living with disabilities in Vancouver have more affordable housing options as Heather Place Building B opens.

People in Victoria will have access to more than 500 new rental homes, retail spaces and a public plaza, as construction begins on a major redevelopment at the corner of Douglas and Caledonia streets.

The Government of British Columbia is launching a bold set of actions designed to drive investment in major projects that will grow the economy, diversify markets and create new jobs, enabling province- and nation-building industrial projects that will unlock the full economic potential of northern B.C.

Families in 14 communities throughout the province will benefit from more than 900 new licensed child care spaces that will open this fall, expanding access to affordable, high-quality child care.

Young people facing barriers to employment throughout the province will have more opportunities to find jobs and improve their life skills supported by new provincial funding.
