People at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Kelowna will soon have access to 60 new temporary homes with the opening of Balsam Place.

Hundreds of families, seniors and individuals now have certainty that they can stay in homes they can afford with funding from B.C.’s Rental Protection Fund.

Seniors and people living with disabilities in Elkford now have access to 25 new, affordable rental homes with the opening of a new development.

Twenty new rental homes are ready for residents at Cottonwood Place, providing seniors in Lumby with more choices for comfortable and accessible living.

Work is underway to bring approximately 20 complex-care homes with robust health and social supports to people with complex mental-health and substance-use challenges in Nanaimo.

People experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Abbotsford will have access to more shelter spaces, with 22 new spaces open and 45 spaces opening over the coming months.  

Indigenous Elders, individuals and people with disabilities with low or moderate incomes now have access to 40 affordable homes in Courtenay.

People experiencing homelessness in Nanaimo will soon have access to nearly 190 more indoor housing spaces.
