Nominations are being accepted for the Province’s two highest honours: the Order of British Columbia and the Medal of Good Citizenship.

The Province has developed a French-language policy that will guide government ministries in enhancing services to French-speaking residents.

Three non-profit provincial organizations will receive funding to enhance services and resources for French-speaking residents in British Columbia.

Early childhood professionals educated in languages other than English will have reduced costs and more support to become certified to work in British Columbia’s child care sector, as a result of financial support to translate educational documents into English.
