People in the growing Sea-to-Sky region will benefit from a new Capilano University campus in Squamish following a $48-million investment from the Province.

Seniors with low to moderate incomes in Delta will soon have access to 152 new affordable homes, with construction underway on a new housing development.

New funding for the University of Victoria’s (UVic) Experimental Ocean Climate Change Lab (EXCEL) will support research on the impact of climate change on the environment and the promotion of resilience and sustainability for B.C.’s marine sector.

Building on ongoing work with local communities to prepare for extreme temperatures, new funding will help assess and plan for the risks of extreme heat and cold that B.C. has been experiencing due to climate change.
