More than 14,000 B.C. students will soon have access to new, safe and accessible playgrounds as the Province doubles its annual investment in the Playground Equipment Program (PEP). 

The Province is launching the BC Vaccine Card, a digital or printed document that shows the stage cardholders are at in their COVID-19 vaccine progress.

B.C. students will return to school next month and can look forward to full-time, in-person learning and resuming sports, music and other extracurricular activities, while mask requirements and other health and safety measures remain in place to keep schools safe.

British Columbians are invited to provide input into the development of made-in-B.C. permanent paid sick leave to support workers and protect workplaces.

New child care legislation is building on the strong foundation that will bring an inclusive, universal early learning and child care system to B.C. families.

More parents in Vancouver, North Vancouver and the Sea to Sky Corridor will be able to return to work, go back to school or pursue other opportunities as the Province invests in more than 680 new licensed child care spaces, more than 450 of which are expected to open by the end of the year.

More parents in the Fraser Valley will be able to return to work, go back to school or pursue other opportunities as the Province invests in nearly 240 new licensed child care spaces, 110 of which are expected to be open this fall.

More parents in Surrey and Langley will have the option to return to work, go back to school or pursue other opportunities as the Province invests in more than 285 new licensed child care spaces, about 200 of which are expected to open by the fall.
