Mable Elmore, Parliamentary Secretary for Anti-Racism Initiatives, has released the following statement in celebration of Multiculturalism Week, Nov. 19-25, 2023:

Community organizations are invited to apply for annual grants that support projects that tackle racial inequity and foster inter-cultural understanding in B.C.

Racialized people can now share their perspectives in culturally safe spaces as 68 organizations across B.C. receive more than $300,000 to engage community members on the development of new anti-racism legislation.

People are encouraged to share their thoughts through an online questionnaire about how government can best address systemic racism.
