From September 2021, two paralegals will support the work of the Supreme Court Civil and Family Rules committee and offer advice on new projects and rules that may impact British Columbians’ access to justice.

The Province, through BC Housing, has purchased three motels in Penticton as part of a proposed redevelopment plan to preserve and revitalize 105 affordable homes for people with low incomes in the community.

New affordable rental homes are now open for Indigenous peoples in Cranbrook.

Thirty-eight new supportive homes are opening in Surrey, while construction is set to start on 40 additional homes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the community.
