Black History Month is typically a time to honour, celebrate and reflect upon the stories, experiences and accomplishments of Black Canadians here in British Columbia and across the country.

The Province is partnering with the Progressive Housing Society on two new projects that will deliver 43 new supportive homes, along with 45 new shelter spaces, for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Burnaby.

The Province, through BC Housing, has signed a lease with GSL Group that will allow the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre (SOFMC) to be used again for temporary housing beginning in March.
